I can’t help but feel bad about this week’s post. You guys deserve more than a video and apology! I only update once a week for Pete’s sake! This injustice will not stand! So here I am, updating on a Thursday.
The last week was pretty crappy, I won’t lie. But the world keeps turning. I’ve been semi-productive. You saw the fairy-lady image, and I intend to print super-tiny versions for resin casting, then we’ll have some fairy pendants on Starfall. Go check Dani out there, feedback and attention help when you’re unsure or short on energy. Not that she is… but if she was it would help.
Work has me sapped of most of my strength this week, and when I return home and sit in the studio I can only summon the power to doodle. But! Then I remember the POWER OF THE DOODLE. At their best, doodles turn into ideas, blueprints for awesome. This past week’s doodles turned into a plan for monster profiles. I’m working on one for the Yeti, with a little rhyme included. I have a rhyme for Vampire and for Banshee as well, but no defined image. Hopefully I can come up with one for each letter of the alphabet.

Lost came back this week. I welcome it! There’s already a ton of stuff written about this the last season, so I’ll just say I saw shades of the Dark Tower series in the season premier. Both mythologies have their own thing, but the overarching themes of destiny, numbers and possible worlds are similar. This is only to Lost‘s benefit. I also don’t care if he’s playing Locke, the Smoke Monster, or Ben’s post-op gender reassigned mother, as long as Terry O’Quinn sticks around.
