healing Up.
The bruises on my left arm are starting to fade.
Maybe I should start at the beginning of the story. My upstairs neighbors have a big mastiff-type dog, the kind Hagrid owns in Harry Potter. His name is Charlie. We’ve met before, and in a neighborly big dog way he sniffed me and licked my face. Unfortunately last week he decided he didn’t like the way I looked very much, and he pulled his owner off her feet and bit into my left arm.
Luckily I was wearing a leather jacket. His teeth went clear through it, but didn’t break my skin. No bones are broken. If he’d wanted to hurt me more, he certainly would have. Sadly I do have a dog-mouth shaped bruise on my arm.
My arm is lumpy!
So my arm has prevented me from getting into my new painting, but I have managed to get some work done on a digital illustration of a dragon I had from a month or so ago. I scanned and started the coloring process. I’ve also been sketching web design stuff for Danielle’s Starfall Jewelry site. I’ve got some exciting projects in-progress, so keep checking in for updates, pictures and screenshots of things to come.
